Rosid, a neighbourhood head in Rancapinang village, Cimanggu district, Pandeglang regency, Banten, was part of the team that returned six Javan lorises to their natural habitat. Although he had rarely encountered Nycticebus javanicus in the wild before, Rosid and the rest of the team brought the primates to the release site in the Ujung Kulon National Park area.
The release was part of conservation efforts for the Javan loris species, which is a rare primate. Ujung Kulon National Park was selected as the habitat for returning these wild animals to nature.
