Who we are

This site is published by Sama News Agency. For any question about your data, including a request for access or deletion, write to info@samanews.id.

What we collect

You can read everything on this site without an account. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number in order to read the news.

We count how many times a story is read. That count lives on our own server as a single number per story per day, and is not tied to your identity or your device.

Google Analytics

We would like to understand which stories are read. For that we may use Google Analytics, which stores a cookie on your device and sends visit data to Google.

It does not run unless you agree to it. Before you press “Accept” on the banner, Google's script is not loaded at all — not merely disabled. If you decline, we do not ask again.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser; the banner will reappear.

Advertising

We show advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may store cookies on your device to serve and measure ads, including ads tailored to your interests.

Ads load only after you agree on the banner. If you decline, no advertising script runs at all and the site remains fully readable.

You can manage your Google ad preferences at any time at adssettings.google.com.

Third-party services

Some images and videos on this site are loaded from third-party servers. When that happens, those providers can see your IP address, as is true of any request on the internet.

Your rights

Under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU 27/2022) you have the right to know what data we process, to receive a copy, to have it corrected, and to have it deleted. Send your request to info@samanews.id and we will respond.
