Aprilia Racing's Jorge Martin has revealed that his priority is not the world championship title, but rather securing wins in every round. Martin currently leads the 2026 MotoGP riders' championship with 240 points, 31 points ahead of Marco Bezzecchi in second place.

"I was already world champion in MotoGP 2024. I just want to keep getting wins," Martin said according to the official MotoGP website. The Spanish rider added that whether he is in first position or not is not his main concern, but rather continuing to develop the bike.

The 28-year-old Martin has shown consistency throughout the season, continuing to compete at the top. Last week, he secured a second-place podium finish at the British MotoGP at Silverstone Circuit, reinforcing his position in the fight for the 2026 world championship title.

Martin expressed confidence in his own performance and his team's work. The rider will join Yamaha starting from the 2027 MotoGP season.
