Martin Extends Lead as Fernandez Wins British Grand Prix

Jorge Martin extended his championship lead to 240 points after finishing second at the British Grand Prix, where Raul Fernandez took victory.

Jorge Martin strengthened his position at the top of the 2026 MotoGP standings after finishing second at the British Grand Prix. Martin collected 20 points from the result, increasing his total to 240 points after Raul Fernandez won the race.

Marco Bezzecchi moved up to second place in the standings after finishing third, collecting 209 points or trailing Martin by 31 points. Ai Ogura dropped to third place with 203 points, while there were no changes in positions four through ten.

Fernandez, who won the race, remained in sixth place with 184 points. His point gap to Di Giannantonio is 15 points, while to Pedro Acosta in seventh place is 21 points.

Marc Márquez, the defending champion, occupies fourth place with 200 points or trailing Martin by 40 points. With 10 races remaining this season, Márquez still has a chance to chase Martin, Bezzecchi, and Ogura, depending on his consistency in the coming rounds.
