Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said the provincial government has asked the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) management and Ancol Dream Park operators to cooperate on parking arrangements during events at the stadium. The cooperation is designed to address parking demand when JIS hosts various activities, from football matches to concerts.
Pramono said the agreement stipulates that JIS event visitors can use Ancol's parking areas. Parking rates will match those set at JIS, and drivers will not be charged Ancol's entrance fee when parking for stadium events.
The cooperation between JIS and Ancol management is expected to help overcome limited parking capacity and support the smooth running of various events at the stadium. Pramono previously inaugurated a bridge connecting Ancol and JIS as part of Jakarta's 499th birthday celebrations in June.
