Fifteen art books are coming out over the next three months, according to editors at the publication. The selections include essay collections, catalogs, photography books, and memoirs.

Guadalupe Rosales's "East of the River: A Memoir of Los Angeles Girlhood," published by One World on September 8, draws from the Chicana artist and educator's personal archive. The memoir combines images and ephemera of family, friends, lowriders, and party flyers with text exploring how artists document their own experiences, particularly those whose stories are absent from existing archives.

Christine Sun Kim's "Deaf Material," released by Primary Information on September 15, archives deafness in popular culture. Elizabeth Alexander's "Signals Across Vast Distances," a collection of essays published by W.W. Norton & Company on the same date, explores artists' roles in society.

Fady Joudah's "Exhibit G: Poems, Essays, and Photographs of Gaza," published by Milkweed Editions on September 22, combines photographs, poems, and essays about Gaza. The National Book Award finalist's work focuses on Palestinian children's experiences and resistance, according to editors.
