The Federal Reserve Board announced an enforcement action on Thursday against Gadiel Rosario-Alvarado, a former employee of Banco Popular de Puerto Rico in San Juan. The action took the form of a consent prohibition order stemming from the misappropriation of customer funds.
The prohibition order prevents Rosario-Alvarado from further participation in the banking industry. Additional enforcement actions by the Federal Reserve can be searched on the board's website.
