Fortune Indonesia has released the "Fortune Indonesia 100" list for 2026 with a minimum revenue requirement of Rp 12.31 trillion for the 2025 financial year. This threshold represents a significant increase compared to the inaugural edition based on 2021 performance, which set the bar at Rp 8.41 trillion.
Over four years, the "entry ticket" for Fortune Indonesia 100 has increased by nearly 46 percent, or an average of 10 percent annually. PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI), and PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) dominate the top three positions based on net profit.
BCA ranks first with net profit of Rp 57.54 trillion in 2025, jumping from tenth position the previous year and pushing PT Pertamina (Persero) to fourth position with net profit of Rp 56.23 trillion. BRI rose one position to second place with net profit of Rp 56.65 trillion, while Bank Mandiri climbed two positions to third place with net profit of Rp 56.29 trillion. PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) fell to fifth position with net profit of Rp 32.77 trillion.
Fortune Indonesia's data shows that approximately 66 percent of the 100 companies on the list recorded revenue growth. However, only 49 companies experienced net profit growth, while 51 companies saw declines. Hendra Soeprajitno, Editor in Chief of Fortune Indonesia, stated in a press release that "revenue growth does not automatically translate into profit growth."
The total revenue of the 100 companies on the list reached Rp 6,224.01 trillion, equivalent to 26.1 percent of the nation's 2025 gross domestic product of Rp 23.831 trillion. Of this amount, 19 state-owned enterprises (SOEs) contributed 50.32 percent of total revenue. Soeprajitno said that changes in company rankings, including BRI which for the first time placed third based on 2025 revenue, demonstrate that "even among companies with the largest scale, a position at the top is not something permanent."
