Rescue operations continue in Colombia more than 48 hours after a 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck the country. More than 200 people have been confirmed dead, and more than 2,000 are reported missing.

President Abelardo de la Espriella declared a state of emergency as significant portions of the population remain without clean drinking water or electricity. Several major highways remain closed.
