Harry Jowsey said Netflix dramatized a scene in his reality competition series Let's Marry Harry by adding audio that suggested sexual activity when he and contestant Dannelle Davidson were only kissing. The episode featured the pair entering a closet during a scene that aired at the end of episode two, with audio that escalated from kissing sounds to more explicit noises.
Jowsey addressed the scene on Instagram Reels after a fan questioned whether his intimate encounters on the show were edited or filtered. He said he and Davidson were "strictly making out" and that producers sourced the audio from elsewhere. "I don't know where they pulled that audio from or who that was in that audio, but it certainly was not us," Jowsey said, adding that networks typically exaggerate content to maintain viewer interest.
Netflix did not respond to requests for comment on the allegation. The controversy echoes a similar incident from the 2003 dating competition series Joe Millionaire, in which contestant Sarah Kozer disputed suggestive subtitles and audio placed over footage of her in a private moment with eligible bachelor Evan Marriott. Kozer said later that she had only been kissing Marriott but felt the episode's editing was misleading.
