Indonesia women's volleyball team needs one victory over the Philippines to secure the runner-up position at SEA V Cup 2026 leg 2, in a match to be held on Sunday (9/8) at 700th Anniversary Chiang Mai Sports Complex. The match will be broadcast live at 12:30 WIB.

Currently Indonesia ranks third with 2 points from two matches, while the Philippines are in second place with 3 points from two matches. Thailand leads the standings with 6 points, while Vietnam is in last place with 1 point.

An Indonesian victory over the Philippines will give Indonesia 4 total points, while the Philippines will remain at 3 points. Although the Philippines can earn additional points from other results, Indonesia with two victories will be more entitled to the runner-up position based on volleyball standings calculations that prioritise the number of wins.

A similar scenario will apply even if Vietnam creates an upset by defeating Thailand. In such circumstances, three teams could have the same total points, but Indonesia will still hold the runner-up position thanks to two more wins than the Philippines and Vietnam.
