Denzel Curry and Kenny Beats have released II, their second album together and the follow-up to 2020's Unlocked. The album came out August 21 via Loma Vista.
II features guest appearances from Jpegmafia, Westside Gunn, and Yebba, who appears on the album's closing track and single "Difference." The project marks the first collaboration between Curry and the producer since Beats rebranded as Kenneth Blume III.
Blume said in a press release that the work between him and Curry "has never been easy, which is why it's so rewarding." He added: "We've started every project on opposite sides of a coin and fought our way to the center. When I hear this album I hear the growth and the fight in equal parts."
