Britain secures Olympic dressage spot with World Championship silver

Great Britain's dressage team qualified for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics by finishing second at the FEI World Championships in Aachen, Germany. The team of Fiona Bigwood, Charlotte Fry, Carl Hester and Becky Moody scored 231.4 in the team final, behind Germany's winning total of 235.0.

Bigwood, riding Donna Bella, and Moody on Jagerbomb secured Britain's second-place position on Tuesday. Hester, on Fame, and Fry, on Glamourdale, competed on Wednesday; Fry topped the team scoring with 80.311 and is the defending individual and freestyle world champion.

The top six teams from the championships qualified for Los Angeles. Denmark finished third, Belgium fourth, the Netherlands fifth and Sweden sixth.
