Former US President Joe Biden's prostate cancer has metastasised to bone and other parts of his body, Hunter Biden revealed in an interview with the BBC. Hunter Biden said his father, who is 83 years old, is in considerable pain and the condition is debilitating in many ways.
"It's really heavy and sad to see," said Hunter Biden. He added that the cancer has spread to bone and other parts of his body, but his father continues with his daily activities and is confident about the country's future.
Joe Biden was diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer in May 2025. The former president underwent hormone therapy and a course of radiation therapy for his condition.
In the same interview, Hunter Biden also discussed his father's decision to grant him a pardon in December 2024, near the end of his presidency. The pardon covered convictions for violating federal law related to gun ownership and taxes.
"I'm probably the luckiest person there could be," said Hunter Biden, expressing gratitude for the decision.
