ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot will participate in her first spacewalk during U.S. Spacewalk 97, according to the European Space Agency. She will be joined by NASA astronaut Anil Menon for the extravehicular activity.

The pair will replace a Space-to-Ground antenna on the International Space Station, which provides high-speed data and voice communications between Mission Control in Houston and the orbiting outpost. The antenna is part of the station's critical communications infrastructure.

Coverage of the spacewalk will be broadcast live on ESA WebTV and the ESA's YouTube channel. The broadcast begins at 13:00 CEST, with the spacewalk scheduled to commence at approximately 14:35 CEST.
