The Attorney General's Office confirmed that Febrio is an employee of the agency who previously served as a staff member of Febrie Adriansyah, the former Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes. Anang Supriatna, Head of the Attorney General's Legal Information Centre, said Febrio is not a prosecutor but an administrative staff member at the agency.
While confirming Febrio's status, Anang stated he did not know whether Febrio was the person who transported Sutrimo's body from Mordent Clinic to Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital. He explained that Febrio continued to work as an administrative staff member at the Attorney General's Office after Febrie Adriansyah was suspended in a money laundering corruption case.
Sutrimo died on 23 July after being found unconscious in the yard of Mordent Clinic in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The body was then taken to Muhammadiyah Taman Puring Hospital by ambulance.
Sutrimo's family formally reported his death to Banyumas Police on the evening of 8 August. The report was filed by Suting, the deceased's brother, and his son Abhi as the authorised representative of the heirs. The family said they had not previously been aware of any irregularities, but various reports circulating led them to want to know the true circumstances.
