Vilnius hosted the fifth annual Corgi Race on Saturday, drawing around 150 dogs from nine countries to Vingis Park. The event attracted thousands of spectators who watched competitors vie in seven categories.

The competitions included solo sprints, agility events, a loudest voice contest, a run-and-return challenge and a costume parade. Corgi owners and enthusiasts from across Europe and beyond gathered to celebrate the bond between the dogs and their owners.

A dog named "GG" won the main race. The owner, Dustin Embrey, travelled from the United States for the event. Embrey said Vilnius was so welcoming to dogs that they would consider returning to the Lithuanian capital even without the race.
