Anderson Taylor opened the Cambridge Natural History Museum in Cambridge, Illinois, on August 10, 2024, when he was nine years and 340 days old, according to Guinness World Records. The achievement, announced July 15, marked him as the world's youngest museum curator.

The museum began with a single display case. Taylor has since expanded the collection to more than a dozen cases, according to the record, which features animal fossils, iridescent bones, and rare minerals.
