Ferran Torres scored twice off the bench as Paris Saint-Germain fought back from two goals down to draw 2-2 with hosts Rennes in their Ligue 1 season opener on Sunday. The goals came on Torres's debut for PSG as the visitors mounted a second-half comeback.

Rennes took the lead inside nine minutes when Sebastian Szymanski's shot deflected in off the post. The home side extended their advantage to 2-0 seven minutes before half-time when Esteban Lepaul turned in Przemyslaw Frankowski's low cross from the right wing. A Désiré Doué effort for PSG was ruled out for offside before the break.

PSG applied sustained pressure after the interval and earned a point through Torres's two goals late in the match.
