Leeds United defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0 to advance to the Carabao Cup third round. Dan James opened the scoring in the 50th minute, with a Neco Williams own goal adding Leeds' second.
The victory marked Daniel Farke's side's second win over Forest in three days, following a 1-0 league success on Saturday. It also ended a run of nearly five decades without a win at the City Ground, where Leeds had last prevailed in 1972.
Forest manager Oliver Glasner said after the loss that he is not a "magician."
