Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said President Prabowo Subianto plans to redirect some of the profits from the Investment Management Agency (BPI) Danantara to support the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN). These profits will function as a reserve in the state treasury, according to Purbaya.

Purbaya said the plan to redirect the funds is currently only an idea still being discussed with Danantara. "It's just an idea, still being discussed with Danantara," said Purbaya at the Ministry of Finance office in Central Jakarta, Tuesday (11/8).

President Prabowo previously disclosed that Danantara has recorded a very significant surge in revenue. According to reports received by Prabowo, Danantara's revenue increased around 400 per cent in one year of operations, as stated during the launch of a book about Bahlil Lahadalia's achievements in Central Jakarta, Friday (7/8).

Prabowo stressed that this achievement still needs to be audited and examined further. He also noted that even if the increase was in the range of 300 per cent or 200 per cent, the figure would still demonstrate very substantial growth in one year.
