Como 1907 has spent approximately 342 million euros or around Rp6.94 trillion on player transfers since the 2024/2025 season, according to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport. This figure ranks fourth among Italian clubs, behind only Juventus, AC Milan, and Napoli during the same period.

The massive investment by the Hartono family, the Indonesian owners of the club, also includes renovation of the training centre in Mozzate worth approximately 5 million euros and modernisation of the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium, estimated to require around 64 million euros. Como president Mirwan Suwarso previously stated that the stadium renovation is being carried out to meet UEFA standards for hosting Champions League home matches.

In the 2024/2025 season, Como spent approximately 110 million euros on player transfers, with an increase of 105 million euros in the following season. Several key players were brought in, including Jesus Rodriguez from Real Betis at a cost of 22.5 million euros plus bonuses, Maxence Caqueret from Lyon for 15 million euros, and Tasos Douvikas from Celta Vigo for 14 million euros.

However, not all of this investment has produced the expected results. Nicolas Kuhn from Celtic, purchased for 19 million euros, has yet to make a significant impact and may potentially leave the club. Como's management has demonstrated readiness to face the possibility of financial fair play fines resulting from these large expenditures.
