A landslide triggered by heavy rain and flooding in Baguio city, northern Philippines, has killed 10 people. Rescue teams were searching through the remains of houses buried by the landslide on Monday.

Three people were rescued from the incident, according to reports.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said more than half a million people in 33 provinces were affected by the disaster caused by the heavy rain.
