Kupang Regency Government together with Navy District VII held the Merdeka Rowing Competition in the waters of Navy District VII on Wednesday last week. The event was attended by more than 176 participants from the local coastal community.

The competition was held to strengthen solidarity among the coastal community. The government also used this opportunity to encourage optimal utilisation of the coastal area.

Through this activity, the government hopes to improve the welfare of local people living in the coastal area.
