Two lifts embedded in a Chinese cliff, nicknamed the "sky school bus" by local residents, help students reach school more quickly. The lifts, named Qingyun and Fuyao, each measure 280 metres tall and are attached to the walls of Nizhu River Gorge in Yunnan, China.

Previously, local students had to traverse a route with a vertical rise of more than 500 metres to reach school. With the operation of both cliff lifts, the journey to the top is now far faster and easier.
