The celebration of the 81st anniversary of Indonesia's Independence Day on 17 August 2026 can be marked not only by hoisting flags or participating in community activities, but also through creative content on social media. One increasingly popular method is creating images or posters with an independence theme using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
With AI assistance, users can create various visuals themed around Indonesia's independence anniversary simply by issuing commands or prompts. The concept of the image, objects, colours, illustration style, image ratio, and text to be displayed can all be described in the prompt. The more detailed the instructions given, the clearer the vision for the desired image, although the final result can vary depending on which AI platform is used.
Poster themes can feature young people enthusiastically waving the red and white flag in front of a school building and green trees. Another theme might reflect Indonesia's ethnic and cultural diversity, with people from various groups wearing traditional clothing while carrying the red and white flag against an artistic map of Indonesia as the backdrop.
Other concepts include flag-raising ceremonies in a palace courtyard with flag-raising troops and the Garuda Pancasila, as well as a blend of modern Indonesia with skyscrapers and renewable energy alongside rice fields and fishermen. Celebration themes can depict the festivity of 17 August competitions such as greased pole climbing, sack racing, and tug of war with red and white decorative bunting.
An evening scene with spectacular fireworks above the National Monument and a drone light show can also be options for users wanting to create posters with a spectacular atmosphere.
