The Head of State of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, received King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifah of Bahrain during his state visit to the country.
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and King Hamad bin Isa discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern and exchanged views on them. Among the main topics were developments in the Middle East region and efforts to promote regional stability and security for the benefit of all peoples and countries in the region.
Both sides expressed pride in the strong relations of friendship linking the two nations and emphasised their commitment to continuing to promote joint cooperation, particularly in light of the shared challenges facing the region and the need for synergy and cooperation to address them.
King Hamad bin Isa praised the UAE's steadfast position of friendship towards the Kingdom of Bahrain in all circumstances, which has contributed to strengthening the kingdom's efforts and capacity in facing various challenges.
