A national research laboratory has opened part of its facilities to university researchers through a shared-use scheme.
The scheme allows use of precision measurement instruments without full rental fees, on condition that research results are published openly.
Management said usage schedules are managed through an online booking system to avoid conflicts between research groups.
A similar program is planned for expansion to laboratories in other regions in a later phase.
