Travis Kelce said his wedding to Taylor Swift was the highlight of his offseason as he returned to the practice field ahead of his 14th NFL season. "Wedding was the best night of my life, and I appreciate everybody who came out and celebrated and had fun with us," the Kansas City Chiefs tight end told reporters on Wednesday.

Swift and Kelce married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in a ceremony officiated by Adam Sandler. Austin Swift served as Swift's man of honor while Jason Kelce was his brother's best man. More than 1,000 guests attended, including Julia Roberts, Ed Sheeran, Jack Antonoff, Tom Hanks, Zoë Kravitz, Steven Spielberg, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid. Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks performed at the reception.

Kelce said fulfilling a childhood dream factored into his decision to hold the wedding at the Manhattan venue. "I always told myself I'd go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking," he said, noting his wife had visited the arena in June while he was in training camp. "It was cool to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the mecca of all sports venues."

The couple thanked the owners of Madison Square Garden for accommodating their request for a private event. "It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration," Kelce said.
