Britney Spears shared an account of a negative experience with a Botox procedure in a social media post on August 8, 2026. According to the singer, a doctor "injected so much Botox in this left eye" that her eyelid drooped as a result.

Spears demonstrated the condition to followers by pressing her finger to her left eye and lowering the middle of her eyelid until it covered half of the eye. She described the entire experience as "very embarrassing," noting that her eyelid remained drooped for approximately four weeks before beginning to improve.

In the video post, captioned "You can't trust anybody!!!," Spears advised others considering Botox to be cautious. "Girls, you have to be careful if you want to get Botox," she said, adding that doctors "can really damage your eyes."

The singer urged followers to "be careful with these people" and to protect their bodies. "They try to change your face and end up ruining everything," she said. Page Six reported it contacted Spears' representatives regarding the post.
