Eve Ogden Schaub is undertaking a project to create a linen garment made from flax grown in her home garden. She is documenting the process in videos shared on her Instagram account.

The project represents an alternative to fast fashion, the industry practice of rapidly producing inexpensive clothes in large volumes. Schaub said she wanted to find "the slowest fashion imaginable" in response to the prevalence of mass-produced garments.

Her approach stands in contrast to the conventional fashion industry, which relies on fast production cycles to create items from crop tops to shorts and brightly patterned dresses.
