Veda Ega Ninth at British Moto3, Almansa Takes Victory

Indonesian rider Veda Ega from Honda Team Asia finished ninth at the British Moto3 race at Silverstone Circuit, while David Almansa claimed victory after a tight contest.

Indonesian rider Veda Ega, competing for Honda Team Asia, finished in ninth position at the 2026 British Moto3 at Silverstone Circuit on Sunday evening WIB time. Veda started the race from fifteenth position and managed to move up to eleventh place at the start.

David Almansa made a good start and successfully took the race lead after the initial start. The competition at the front was intense with the lead position changing hands among Brian Uriarte, Almansa, and Alvaro Carpe on the fourth lap.

Veda Ega's performance fluctuated throughout the race. The 17-year-old rider dropped to eleventh position on the fourth lap, moved up to seventh in the middle of the race, but then fell back to thirteenth when seven laps remained. Veda managed to climb back to seventh place at the start of the final lap before ultimately finishing in ninth position.

Hakim Danish from Malaysia crashed on the sixth lap but managed to continue the race, finishing in twenty-fourth position. Scott Ogden also crashed on the seventh lap. Meanwhile, Almansa held onto the race lead until the end and was crowned champion at the 2026 British Moto3.
