A large-scale solar project has begun feeding electricity into the national grid after completing system testing.
The facility was built in a desert area and includes an automated panel cleaning system to manage dust accumulation.
Operators said initial capacity will be raised in stages as further panel blocks are added.
The project forms part of a medium-term energy source diversification plan.
