The event is being held to mark the 81st anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

Secretary General of the Central Board of Jatma Aswaja KH A. Helmy Faishal Zaini said that through the national remembrance ceremony and the commemoration of the nation's founders, participants will together offer prayers for their predecessors and the founders of the nation. Helmy stated that the sacrifices made by the founders of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia for Indonesia's independence must always be a subject of collective reflection.

The event is scheduled to begin at around 19.00 WIB and is expected to draw more than 50,000 participants. Attendees are planned to include President Prabowo Subianto, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar, Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan, the Armed Forces and Police, national figures, Islamic scholars, and youth leaders from various faiths.
