Harry Styles referenced his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift's wedding during the opening night of his 30-concert residency at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. After noting that the venue is home to the New York Knicks, Styles added, "And they also do weddings."
Styles and Swift dated from November 2012 to January 2013. According to Variety, Styles received an invitation to Swift's July 3 wedding to NFL player Travis Kelce at Madison Square Garden, but sources said Styles would not attend because he was on tour.
Styles' fiancé, Zoe Kravitz, attended the wedding. There is no apparent animosity between Styles and Swift; during his Wembley residency on July 3, Styles performed "Two Ghosts," his 2017 song believed to be a response to Swift's "Style."
