The European Union announced an additional €10.5 million in humanitarian aid for Myanmar, citing the worsening humanitarian situation in the country.
The conflict in Myanmar has claimed more than 100,000 lives, according to the announcement from the European Commission in Brussels on August 13, 2026.
The fresh allocation brings increased international support to the Southeast Asian nation amid ongoing violence and displacement.
