The European Space Agency's satellite operations highlighted the final week of August and opening days of September 2026. FLEX and Sentinel-3C underwent final preparations as they were sealed prior to deployment.

Earth observation capabilities were demonstrated as Sentinel-2 captured satellite imagery documenting the before and after conditions of a flash flood that struck Nepal during the period.

On the administrative front, Daniel Neuenschwander and Julien-Alexandre Lamamy attended a signing ceremony for the MAGPIE project, marking the formalization of a new space initiative.
