The European Space Agency released its latest weekly image roundup, showcasing developments from August 17-21, 2026. The selection included documentation of ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot during EVA-97, a spacewalk conducted during that period.

Among the Earth-focused imagery was a photograph of the total eclipse on August 12, captured by Cayetana Saiz. The collection also featured contrasting views of the countryside surrounding Belgrade, Serbia, taken on August 8, 2026.

The ESA and ATMOS team were also highlighted during a concept definition file study for Phoenix 3. Additionally, satellite imagery documented carbon monoxide emissions from fires across North America during the week.
