A feasibility study for a cross-border rail corridor has entered its final stage after technical data collection along the route was completed.
The study covers track gauge standardization, signaling systems, and designation of border crossing points for freight.
The drafting team said the main challenge is harmonizing operational regulations across the countries the corridor passes through.
The study's findings will form the basis for funding discussions at the next ministerial meeting.
