An urban farming program is using office building rooftops as growing space for leafy vegetables and herbs.
Managers said the growing system uses lightweight media so as not to overload building structures.
Part of the harvest goes to community kitchens nearby, with the remainder sold at the building's weekend market.
Participating employees said the activity also serves as a break from work routines.
