Seventy-two people died when a ferry sank in Lake Kariba on Saturday, the body of water forming the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. The vessel, which was carrying 95 passengers, was believed to have exceeded its capacity before it sank after being struck by large waves.
Rescue teams continued searching for additional passengers who remained unaccounted for following the incident.
