Saturday Night Live has parted ways with longtime music booker Brian Siedlecki after the show elected not to renew his contract. Siedlecki had been with SNL for nearly 30 years, beginning as an intern in 1996.
During his tenure, Siedlecki helped maintain SNL's status as one of the most sought-after music bookings in the entertainment industry. Artists he booked for the show ranged from established acts like Paul McCartney and Bruce Springsteen to contemporary pop stars including Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Olivia Rodrigo.
Siedlecki did not respond to requests for comment. His NBC email now directs inquiries to longtime bookers Keri Powers, who joined SNL in 2014, and Rebecca Schwartz, who joined in 2015.
When contacted, NBC said the network "doesn't comment on staffing." The departure comes more than a month before SNL is scheduled to begin its 52nd season on September 26.
