Indonesia's national women's volleyball team finished third in the second leg of the SEA V Women's Cup 2026 in Chiang Mai, Thailand, on Sunday. This position was secured after Thailand defeated Vietnam in the final with a score of 3-0.

Indonesia defeated Vietnam in the competition but lost to Thailand and the Philippines. The third-place finish repeated the result from the first leg of the tournament, although against different opponents: in the first leg, Indonesia beat the Philippines but lost to Thailand and Vietnam.

Indah Guretno Dwi Margiani from Indonesia's team was awarded the best libero honour in the second leg. In the first leg, Maradanti Namira Tegariani made the list of best players as best middle blocker alongside Kaewkalava Kamulthala.

Indonesia's achievement shows improvement compared to the 2025 edition, when the team finished last in both legs and no players made the list of best players. However, the Indonesian Volleyball Association set a target for its team to be runner-up, which means this result requires evaluation.
