Grand Central Bakery of Seattle, Washington, is recalling loaves of Potato Sourdough bread due to possible metal contamination. The recall affects products sold on August 10, 2026, at the bakery's four café locations in the Seattle and Tacoma metro areas, as well as at select grocery stores, restaurants, and wholesalers in the region.

The recall was initiated after a pallet nail was discovered in a loaf of Potato Sourdough Bread. All affected products are ready-to-eat bread intended for home consumption. No injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with the contamination.

Consumers who purchased the product on August 10 are advised to dispose of it and contact Grand Central Bakery's Wholesale Support Team at info@grandcentralbakery.com or through the company's website at https://www.grandcentralbakery.com/contact. Customers may also call the bakery at 503-232-0575 Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time.

The recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
