The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ and Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra, estimated to launch in September 2026, display design similarities to the Galaxy Tab S11 tablet series. SammyGuru reported on Saturday (8/8) that it had obtained render images of both devices and found the front design to closely resemble the predecessor series.
According to the render images, the bezel thickness and overall front appearance of both models are largely the same as the S11 generation. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is reported to still retain the notch at the top of the display, contrary to earlier rumours suggesting Samsung would replace it with a punch-hole camera. Meanwhile, Gizmochina reported that previous leaks mentioned the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra could use a more modern camera design, while the Galaxy Tab S12+ would continue to use a camera placed on the bezel.
The render images also show Samsung preparing a wallpaper with a combination of blue and purple gradients and an "S"-shaped element in the centre. Both tablets are estimated to be available in grey and silver colour options.
The Galaxy Tab S12+ is estimated to use a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is expected to retain a 14.6-inch display. The Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra is reported to use a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, and both devices are expected to be equipped with an S Pen stylus with support for Android updates and security patches for seven years.
The battery capacity of both devices is estimated to increase. The Galaxy Tab S12+ is expected to use a 10,600mAh battery, while the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will be equipped with an 11,600mAh battery.
