The Indonesian Futsal Association has released a list of 16 players selected to participate in a training camp in Spain. A total of 16 players will travel to Spain to undergo a series of matches against three elite local clubs.
For the goalkeeper position, two players have been called up: Mohamad Rizki and Ahmad Habibi. The anchor position has four selected players: Rizki Xavier, Rio Pangestu, Ardiansyah Nur, and Romi Humandri.
Seven players have been selected from the left and right flank positions: Brian Ick, Ronal Drion, Mochammad Iqbal, Andarias Kareth, Firman Ardiansyah, Reza Gunawan, and Yogi Saputra. Three other players fill the pivot position: Syauqi Saud, Samuel Eko, and Muhammad Sanjaya.
The Indonesian Futsal national team will undergo a training camp in Spain on 16-19 August. After that, the team will participate in an international tournament in Brazil on 7-13 October, followed by FIFA Matchday on 2-11 November as part of preparations for the 2028 Futsal World Cup.
Israr Megantara has been placed as a reserve player and has the opportunity to join the squad depending on the developing situation and conditions.
